Podcast: Will Obama Blow It With Small Businesses?

The song of the angry not-so-young microbusiness owner has been a recurring theme here at the MicroEnterprise Journal/Microbusiness News Briefs for a few weeks now.
There’s a reason for that.
It seems that the more time that goes by, the angrier those microbusiness owners get. It’s not that we don’t understand about all those jobs, etc., etc. It is simply that we don’t agree that such is a good reason to spend all that money saving businesses that, frankly, don’t deserve to be saved.
There were other options for handling the situation.
Congress returns from recess today, which makes me very happy. Already, there is a hearing scheduled on Wednesday that I think will interest you. And besides, if the lawmakers are back in Washington, that simply increases the chances that I’ll find things to complain about.
It’s what I live for.

Here in California, the climate is HORRIBLE for microbusinesses. The taxes have increased across the board, they’re looking to keep the taxes increased for many more years, and as usual the microbusiness owners are hit hard. How on earth can any SANE business owners justify keeping alive sick businesses and need to die?

I am new to your blog and enjoyed reading it. Would like your guidence on finding funding for our small business. Currently, we own a horse boarding farm and would like to expand it by constructing a building to house a banquet and meeting Center. My vision is that we would hire local people to staff the sales and facilities side of the Center and I am especially interested in hiring qualified persons with disabilities.
Again, I would appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks
