March Poll: which (if any) SBA programs do you use?

One of the things that constantly weirds me out is the fact that evidently so few small business owners know about the programs offered for their benefit by the federal government and, specifically, the Small Business Administration.
It weirds me out because it seems like everywhere I look, I’m constantly seeing people writing/talking about those programs. Of course, that might just be a reflection of the circles I move in.
Given what’s going on in the economy right now, I think it’s important for small and microbusiness owners to get all the help they can. That’s especially true when that help is funded, in whole or in part, by their tax dollars.
Granted, fewer tax dollars than grace the coffers of AIG but still …
So, earlier this week, Anita Campbell published the first of what is going to be a series of articles from me about federal programs available to help small businesses. The current installment covers the Small Business Development Center program; you can check it out here.
One of the things I talk about in the article is the recent survey conducted by the NASE, which found that few micorbusiness owners knew about SBA programs and so few had ever used them. I’m curious about that (online small business owners might be a bit different, used to finding things online, etc.), so I’m conducting my own small survey here.
