My microbusiness profile subject this week was a challenge for me, because I had to maintain my objectivity when I am, in fact, a highly satisfied customer. It’s no wonder to me that Tywana Smith is doing so well with her business — outstanding products, top notch customer service and a mint of information about African-American hair and skin care on her web site.

Things aren’t so cheerful when we turn to our top story this week. Shop.org is predicting good things; you’ll have to let us know how it goes for you.
