Okay, so shoot me

Yes, I know. It’s Labor Day. I’m supposed to be taking the day off.

I couldn’t let this one slide. This, from an article in today’s New York Times, is an early contender for Quote of the Week, from the lips of Baron Hill, Democratic challenger for a seat in the Indiana delagation of the House:

“People are angry,” Mr. Hill said. “They want to know why we’re paying $3 a gallon and Congress is giving tax breaks to oil companies.”

Short, not especially sweet but definitely to the point.

Personally, I’m happiest about the fact that this year’s election cycle is looking anything but boring.
