We’re not as dumb as we look
According to Gallup, both Democrats and Republicans are capable of making a distinction between support for U.S. foreign military policy and support for U.S. military personnel. Majorities of both groups support the troops, even though Democrats disapprove of the Iraq war.
Sorry, Mr. Cheney.
